Coffee

I've realized that lately I was very dependent on coffee from 2 to 4pm. I usually felt sleepy or simply not motivated without something to drink. I've already tried milk and milo combined but the effect is not the same with coffee.

This is also the instrument why I was able to finish my thesis, aside from the pressure of the co-faculty at the same time the burden it brings.

Hyperlink Problem

I've encountered a problem on removing a hyperlink in an OOo Impress. The usual steps on how to remove a hyperlink is to go to the hyperlink button and on the dialog box, click the button Remove hyperlink. But on my latest encounter this method is not effective. It might work on others but unfortunately, not on my Windows 7.0 OS.

So here's a simple remedy.

1. Hightlight the hyperlink, be sure to select the entire link.

2. Go to Format and Click Default formatting.

That's it.

It's been a year, more or less that I've convinced myself to live alone. 'yong tipong iniisip mo na ang lahat nang bagay ay temporary lang. Yong di mo iisipin kung anong mangyayari after five to 10 years. Almost ako na yun, pero di ko akalaing yun ay magbago.
Nagbago nga ang pagtingin ko sa mundo dahil sa iisang pangyayari lang. I don't think at start na ganun ang effect, pero ilang araw lang nagbago nga ako. Pero masaya ako kasi nararamdaman ko na tama ang pagbabagong nangyayari. Until tonight...
Here comes again, ako na naman, feeling sad, feeling alone, and feeling mo nagbago ang tingin ng iba sayo. Back to di makakatulog thinking of someone. Pero wala akong magawa, di ko hawak ang iba. :(

It is difficult to impress everybody.

In different situations, you are what you are. The problem is that there are people expecting you to act differently on some situations. Sorry, I am not. Maybe I don't know much of myself because I do not know when to act appropriately.

Loving someone of how you know him/her is a matter of commitment. It the whole person that you love and not only his/her face, not his/her personality or any other factors. The whole being is what you loved and therefore you are committing to him/her.

So sad that there are situations that we want others to change their ways. Sometimes just because we don't want to be ashamed. It's hard to avoid but it is true.

I value the commitment or the words that I have spoken. Maybe I'm joking but it is partly the truth. Sorry anyway...

Ant Problem Remedy

I have this problem of managing ants around my house. I usually have pesticides on their way. But I found out that these solution is quite expensive and temporary. After a few hours of spraying, their comes again these ants marching.
So I read some articles on ant problems in the house and found these simple solutions that usually found in your house, not expensive. So what's the effective solution I used: talc (baby powder) and salt.
Sprinkle baby powder on their way. These talc discourages the ants. So they will not pass on that way. If baby powder is not available, try also salt. Sprinkle salts in their way, usually in your windows or doors. This will avoid ants from going back.
I also found out that killing ants will encourage other ants to go on that place because some odor on the dead ants will attract other ants.
You can also used vinegar with water (50/50) and spray the liquid on their way or to their colony.

I asked people which I can consider less fortunate in Metro Manila about their president in the incoming presidential race; Who will be your president? One answered me, Ninoy ako. Bakit naman?, I asked. Kasi naniniwala akong si Ninoy ay aahon sa atin sa kahirapan. Just silent, Ikaw ate, sino presidente mo?, Siguro Villar ako. Sagot nya. Bakit naman, I asked again. Kasi sya yung nakikita ko sa TV na galing sa mahirap.

These are examples of answered I'm losing hope of the considered poor in the Philippines or those people in particular. It is not about their choice of the president but or their reasons for the decision. For those answered on Ninoy for example said because of fate and dependence. As she said, "Naniniwala akong si Ninoy and aahon sa atin sa kahirapan", what a poor reason. Paano naman sila iahon ni Ninoy sa kahirapan kung wala naman silang ginawa. Walang magawa ang gobyerno pag aasa ka lang. Ang isa naman na sumagot on Villar, it seems that Villar is too popular because of advertisement. Talaga bang mahirap ka if your parents is working as a government employee? Hindi ka naman ata super hirap noon. Considered middle class ka na.

If the considered poor people will view election as like this, I'm afraid their life will be the same whoever win the election. Maybe the government can help but the culture and minds of people has a lot to do about the improvement of the life of people. "Ako ang simula" is a good campaign of starting it within you.

Disappointment

Maybe I am doing wrong, that's what comes to my mind when I received a message. Although I never expect something but I am still affected.

This will last only tonight, and I will be OK.
